Represent your constituency at the 2022 FoRB Ministerial
This year the 2022 International Ministerial on Freedom of Religion or Belief (FoRB) is being hosted in London. We have a unique opportunity to inform MPs about the persecution and barriers to religious freedom our persecuted family are facing. We want to invite you to join us at the Ministerial on Tuesday 5 July to speak with your MP and ask them to act.
What is the Ministerial?
The Ministerial (5-6 July) is an international human rights conference. This year, it is being held in the UK and hosted by the foreign commonwealth and development office and the UK Prime Minister’s Special Envoy for FoRB, Fiona Bruce MP.
Who is invited?
The Ministerial will bring together governments, Parliamentarians, faith and belief representatives, and civil society to urge increased global action on freedom of religion or belief for all.
Why is it important?
The purpose of the Ministerial is to urge increased global action on Freedom of Religion or Belief (FoRB) for all. The overarching themes of the Ministerial will be preventing FoRB violations and abuses and protecting and promoting freedom of religion or belief. Therefore, this is a great opportunity to speak up about the key issues our persecuted family face today, and to influence policy outcomes in response.
If this opportunity excites you, use this campaign to sign up and be the representative for your constituency. There are only 60 places, so be quick to secure yours! It is also first come first served, so if someone has already booked to meet your MP, the campaign will tell you other ways we can galvanise support for this one-off opportunity.
